Basic Handgun Course
This 1-day course is designed to introduce handgun characteristics, safe weapon handling skills and promote the shooters confidence. The student will learn the characteristics and capabilities of the revolver and semi- automatic pistol, handgun safety, maintenance of handguns, fundamentals of handgun shooting and legal aspects of gun ownership. This is great course for those considering the purchase of a handgun or handgun owners desiring professional instruction to increase proficiency.

Our Open Enrollment courses are designed for individuals or groups that want to increase proficiency in a professional, dynamic yet fun setting. Our former US Special Operations instructors know how to effectively introduce the fundamentals to the novice as well as challenge the advance shooter.

Texas License to Carry (LTC) Course
The 4-hour course provides the State-Approved curriculum required by The Texas Department of Public Safety - Handgun Licensing Division to certify a private citizen as having completed a course of study to apply for a license to carry a "Handgun" legally in Texas.
Low Profile Carry Course
1-day course designed to instruct, exercise and develop skills necessary to effectively employ your concealed handgun in defensive situations. Our instructor/s will work with students to determine best defensive handgun carry configuration, best holster for specific carry types and how to best employ that handgun in critical situations. Students will employ their individual defensive handgun from the concealed posture during all phases of the course. If you have a CHL or License to Carry, isn't it crucial to learn how to actually employ your weapon in various defensive situations? Students will engage targets put to 50 yards however; the majority of shooting distances will be between 1-15 yards.
Defensive Handgun 1
This two day course is designed for men and women who choose to take a proactive approach to personal security, home and work-place protection. Defensive Handgun Level 1 course will enhance situational awareness, promote personal security posture and introduce students to legal use of the handgun in defense situations. The student will learn defensive shooting fundamentals and personal security measures.
Defensive Handgun 2
This 2-day course is designed as the second Defensive Handgun course in Tactical Ranch’s citizen training programs. Defensive Handgun 2 adds to our Defensive Handgun 1 course by taking the training and scenarios to the next level.
This course incorporates force-on-force munitions (UTM / Simunition, man-marking rounds) into the dynamic defensive-response scenarios. Both men and women who choose to take a proactive approach to personal security will greatly benefit from this level 2 course.
The Defensive Handgun 2 course will further enhance situational awareness and personal security posture as well as use of the handgun in various defense situations.
Carbine Operations Course
This 2-day course is designed for AR/Carbine shooters who seek profes- sional instruction in aspects of rifle marksmanship and carbine employment. The Carbine Operations course instructs the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, rifle set up (slings, optics, lights), carbine characteristics and employment techniques.
Students will undergo a classroom instruction on carbine characteristics, proper iron sight and optics grouping and zero procedures and rifle set-up. Then its off to the range for the fundamenatls. Students will learn to engage targets from various positions and ranges while performing instructed techniques. The drills advance through the course, to include employment of cover and multiple timed and scored shoots. This is a great course for AR/Carbine owners that want to learn proper weapons employment techniques in a professional and fun environment.
Tactical Pistol Course
This 2-day course is designed to enhance Tactical Pistol skills in Law Enforcement Officers, Military, High Threat Security Professionals and Civilian Shooters. Whether the pistol is the Primary or Secondary duty weapon or used in personal defense, this course will increase the student’s proficiency and confidence in his/her ability to effectively engage threats in emerging situations.
Students will undergo pistol marksmanship fundamentals refresher and build into tactical application skills for engaging single and multiple targets from the draw,using stationary and moving firing positions. Students will engage targets from non-standard positions, strong and weak hand shooting, employment of cover and other tactical related techniques.
This is a gunfighting course, instructed by Special Operations personnel with extensive real-world experience.
Tactical Carbine Course
This 2-day course is designed to develop enhanced Tactical Pistol and Carbine / Tactical Rifle skills in Military, Law Enforcement Officers, Security Professionals and tactical-minded civilians. The Tactical Carbine course encompasses dynamic Combat Marksmanship (CMMS) principles and scenario based instruction to rapidly develop student tactical proficiency and confidence in his/her ability to effectively engage threats with both primary and secondary weapons. This itactical course and requires an intermediate level of pistol / rifle proficiency. Shooting drills are evaluated (accuracy, time and tactical discipline). Weapons and students are run hard in this course. Ensure you and your equipment is prepared.
Aerial Platform Shooting Course
This 2-day provides Military, Law Enforcement and Citizen shooters the unique opportunity to develop target engagement competence from a aerial platform. This course instructs the fundamentals of aerial shooting and mathematical formulas necessary to provide increased levels of accuracy from a slow, medium and hovering aerial platform.
